| Bureau opens additional hours to help families in debt South East Staffordshire CAB is launching a campaign to help people manage their debts and stay in their homes in 2010. Citizens Advice Bureaux across England and Wales saw a 42% increase in enquiries about mortgages and secured loans arrears in the 12 months leading up to September 2009. Over the next 5 weeks the bureau will be extending its opening hours in order that families can get free face-to-face and impartial advice. This will equip them with information on managing and prioritising debt, staying on top of paying their bills and ultimately reducing the risk of losing their homes. The remaining extra hours sessions are: · Drop-in sessions at Burntwood Office at Wade House, 7 Cannock Road, Chase Terrace, between 9.30 and 4.30 for the whole week from 8-12 March. At all other times Bureau services will be open at the usual opening times. (Updated: 28/2/10) |
